Unlocking Instructions for Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

General Information about your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 unlock code

When you receive your email with your unique Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 unlocking codes, you may see there's actually more than one code, as some models require more than one code to unlock them fully. However, for simplicity, we do aim to send you a single unlock code, which will be your network unlock code (known as the NCK).

Option 1 - Model: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

1. Turn on the mobile with a non-accepted SIM Card (IE it's not locked to)
2. If prompted, enter the PIN code of your SIM card
3. The phone will prompt you to enter the unlocking code
4. Enter the NCK unlocking code provided
4. The phone will now be unlocked.

Option 2 - Model: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

1. Turn on the mobile with a non-accepted SIM Card (IE it's not locked to)
2. The phone will then prompt you for the unlock code
3. Press the unlock code box with your finger and then the number pad will appear at the bottom of screen
4. Input the unlock code provided
5. Press the 'UNLOCK' button which is below the unlock code box on the screen.
6. The phone will now be unlocked

You will probably have to enter the unlocking code using the On-Screen keyboard

Note: The NCK (Network unlocking code) is the main and usually the only one you'll need.

Please note:

- If you see the message 'NCK: (0)' or 'Not Allowed', this means the phone is hard-locked. The phone cannot be unlocked because there has been more than 5 wrong unlock attempts.
- If your Sony Ericsson has a Joystick, then you must press the DOWN Arrow instead of the LEFT Arrow. DOWN Arrow meaning Joystick downwards

WARNING FOR Xperia X10 and X10 Mini Codes

Before Entering the Code, you must check that code entry attempts have not been used up prior to ordering an unlock code for these models.

To find out how many attempts left you have:


1. Press menu < < menu < menu menu <
2. Check the counter [0 or 5], If it says 0 then you cannot enter the unlocking codes.
